治療方針

検査は費用や時間がかかりますが、患者さんを健康に導くために必要な手段です。

診断材料が不足しているとき、何かしらの病気が疑われるとき等、必要な時に必要な検査をすることで、いち早く診断をつけ、早く治るよう最善の治療法のご提案をいたします。

検査結果を患者さんと一緒に見ながら、患者さんの視点に立って現況やこれからの治療方針などを、わかりやすくご説明させて頂き治療を進めてまいります。

内視鏡の必要性について

鼻や喉の奥などの見えない場所は、内視鏡（ファイバースコピー）を用いて、詳しく観察します。電子スコープの太さは、直径3mmなので、鼻から挿入しても気持ち悪くなることも少なく検査できます。通常の鼻鏡検査では総合的な所見が得られるので、鼻鏡検査と内視鏡検査の両方を行うことで、より正確な診断を行うことができます。

また声枯れ、喉の異物感・違和感、咳・痰（血痰）の症状がある場合は、咽頭・喉頭炎の状態、下咽頭・喉頭腫瘍の有無を確認するために、必ず内視鏡検査を行います。咽頭癌、急性喉頭炎、反回神経麻痺、喉頭蓋のう胞などの病気が分かった場合は、患者さんの意向に合わせて治療を進めてまいります。

"We diagnose and treat conditions related to the ears, nose, and throat, such as hay fever, sinusitis, postnasal drip, chronic pharyngitis, and inner ear inflammation. We also use a fiber-optic camera to directly visualize the affected areas, allowing you to experience the treatment effects more tangibly."

When diagnostic materials are insufficient or there is suspicion of some illness, conducting the necessary tests at the right time allows us to promptly make a diagnosis and propose the best treatment for a faster recovery.

While reviewing the test results together with the patient, we will explain the current situation and future treatment plans in an understandable manner from the patient's perspective and proceed with the treatment.

The necessity of endoscopy.

"We use endoscopy (fiber optic scope) to carefully observe unseen areas such as the back of the nose and throat. The electronic scope has a thickness of 3mm, making the insertion through the nose less discomforting during the examination. Conducting both a regular nasal mirror examination and an endoscopic examination provides comprehensive findings, allowing for a more accurate diagnosis."

"Additionally, in cases of symptoms such as hoarseness, sensation of a foreign body or discomfort in the throat, and cough with phlegm (including bloody phlegm), we always conduct an endoscopic examination to assess the condition of the pharynx and larynx, and to check for the presence of hypopharyngeal or laryngeal tumors. If diseases such as pharyngeal cancer, acute laryngitis, recurrent laryngeal nerve paralysis, or laryngeal cyst are identified, we proceed with treatment according to the patient's preferences."
